A special congratulations has been made by Carlow An Garda Siochana to a student from Tullow Community School.
In a post on Facebook, gardai said: "Congratulations to this year’s Carlow Lions Club Young Ambassador winner Katie Byrne from Tullow Community School.
"An Garda Síochána through Garda John Byrne, Juvenile Liaison Officer, Carlow are delighted to be associated with this.
"A big thank you to President Dan McInerney, Carlow Lions Club for promotion of such a fantastic community project cultivating volunteerism and community spirit in young people.
"Well done Katie".
