Carlow woman recognised with an award for her 'exceptional impact' in the workplace
A woman from Co. Carlow has been honoured and recognised for her "exceptional impact" at her workplace.
Michelle O'Connor, who works in the IT Department of BAM, has won an "Unsung Hero Award" at the BAM UK & Ireland at the annual Making Possible Awards.
It's an event event dedicated to recognising the individuals and teams who deliver exceptional impact across the organisation.
After months of nominations, shortlisting, and voting, colleagues gathered in Newcastle late last month to honour achievements that reflect BAM’s core values.

This year’s winners exemplify innovation, collaboration, and resilience.
"Michelle’s unwavering commitment and proactive approach have transformed processes and improved support for colleagues. From enhancing onboarding through HR collaboration to introducing on-site IT clinics, Michelle consistently goes above and beyond, earning trust and respect across the Ireland segment," Alasdair Henderson, Executive Director of BAM Ireland, said.
