'We need to protect people'- Staff urgently needed in Carlow by The Good Shepherd Centre
The Good Shepherd Centre is urgently hiring staff to support its 9pm–9am Emergency Weather Initiative in Carlow.
The Good Shephard is a non-profit organisation that helps take care of homeless people and is based in Kilkenny.
The roles the organisation is seeking to be filled are paid overnight roles (full-time, part-time and urgent rapid-response cover) for people who can remain calm, compassionate and safety-focused during challenging nights.
Positions need to be filled as soon as possible, The Good Shephard said, so that they can activate support the moment unsafe weather strikes.
A QQI Level 5 is required and people can apply immediately by sending your CV to Jillian@gsck.ie.
"Please share widely as we need to recruit fast so we can protect people who have nowhere else to go in severe weather," The Good Shephard said.
