Yellow weather warning issued for Carlow as Storm Chandra approaches Ireland
A status yellow weather warning for rain has been issued for Carlow, as Storm Chandra makes its way to Ireland.
Rain will be heavy and persistent, according to Met Éireann.
Possible impacts include localised flooding, river flooding, and difficult travel conditions.
The warning is in place for Kilkenny, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow, and Waterford, as well as Carlow.

It will come into effect from midnight on Tuesday night and will last until for almost 24 hours, expiring at 11pm on Tuesday.
Other counties including Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Dublin, Louth, Wexford, and Wicklow are also being hit with a wind warning due to Storm Chandra.

The storm is also affecting Nothern Ireland, the Isles of Scilly, western Cornwall, and southwest Wales, according to the UK Met Office, which named the storm.
