Carlow Town Park
Many parts of Carlow have been flooded as Storm Chandra hits with strong winds and heavy rain.
Met Eireann has issued a yellow wind and rain warning for the county issued on Monday January 26 and valid until Tuesday January 27.
Bands of rain associated with Storm Chandra will be heavy and persistent, with rain falling on already saturated ground will lead to the following.
Possible impacts:
• Localised flooding
• River flooding
• Difficult travel conditions

A man on Facebook from Carlow posted a video of Carlow Town Park flooded after the affects of Storm Chandra and the post said: "Heavy rainfall from the ongoing storm is causing rising river levels, surface water flooding, and hazardous road conditions in parts of Carlow. Some routes may be impassable, and rivers, lakes, and low lying areas are under pressure.
