Cathal offers Category B driving instructions in Carlow Town and the surrounding areas.
He retired from being a Garda over two years ago with the idea of setting up 'Safe and Smooth.'
"I qualified as an approved driving instructor (ADI) last year, and since then I've been preparing to start my own driving school," he said on the Facebook post.
He added that any queries relating to "any aspect" of driving tuition or coaching are more than welcome.
