"A wonderful lady, so full of fun and glamourous to a tee! A vibrant presence in the golf club, and a great pal to my grandmother over the years. Sincere condolences on her passing, now she can be reunited with her dearly departed John".
Another message said, "So sorry to hearing of the passing of our beautiful neighbour and friend Marie may her gentle soul rest in peace. I have such fond memories of her time doing the travel slot on my program, she was always a breath of fresh air and at this time of year she would arrive to studio announcing that ‘Spring had Sprung’! She is now back with her beloved John and wherever they are I hope there is golf and sunshine. Thinking of all the family…..look after yourself and each other".
"My sincerest condolences to Gearóid Garvin, Síne & Niamh and the Lynch family on the passing of Marie. Such a beautiful lady your mother and Marie was always so so glamorous. A great business woman in the town of Mallow along with her beloved John. Thinking of you all at this difficult time," another person said.
