Carlow County Council

Carlow County Council is excited to invite business owners as well as residential and commercial property owners to participate in the 2026 County Carlow Streetscape Enhancement Scheme.
This initiative aims to enrich our local streetscapes, fostering more vibrant and visually appealing spaces for residents, visitors, and businesses alike.
The scheme offers funding to support a variety of enhancements, including:
  • Painting: Refresh your property with a new coat of paint.
  • Repairs: Address any structural or cosmetic issues.
  • Decluttering: Remove old wiring, unnecessary signage, or other unsightly elements.
  • New Signage: Install attractive signage to modernize your property’s exterior.
  • Outdoor Lighting: Enhance visibility and ambiance with quality exterior lighting.
  • Window Display Design: Boost your storefront or residential windows with professional designs or merchandising.

Application Deadline:
The closing date for applications is Friday, 13th March 2026. Early applications are encouraged to ensure ample time for review and approval.
Participating in the Streetscape Enhancement Scheme not only boosts the visual appeal of your property but also contributes to the overall attractiveness of County Carlow.
