A man has now been charged with seven offences of theft from MPV, six offences of unlawful interference with a vehicle and three offences of trespass, in the Tullow area

Person in Carlow arrested in early morning bust and charged with a number of offences
An individual has been arrested and charged for a number of offences in County Carlow recently.
Proactive police work by working uniform teams on mobile patrol in Carlow on Tuesday, 24th March 2026, at 5.40am resulted in the arrest of a person in the Tullow Road area for a number of crimes.
After arrest, detention and interviews of person, throughout all day Tuesday, a person has now been charged with seven offences of theft from MPV, six offences of unlawful interference with a vehicle and three offences of trespass. A number of other incidents are still under investigation.
Accused appears before Carlow District Court on Wednesday March 25.
An Garda Siochána has engaged victims and are making arrangements to return property recovered.

Superintendent Anthony Farrell has acknowledged the uniform teamwork in this case in dealing with volume crimes that impacted individual people.
