Deirdre Kane from Carlow in 'vintage ivory'
Carlow woman Deirdre Kane was “in shock” after landing the title of Best Dressed at the Stena Line Dublin Horse Show on Thursday, according to the Irish Sun.
Deirdre was crowned winner in the style stakes and walked away with the top prize – a €10,000 voucher for Dundrum Town Centre.
The mother-of-two Deirdre impressed judges with her "vintage ivory" inspired outfit.
Her dress was from ByDesign boutique in Cork, with the stylish winner adding her own customised detail.
Deirdre added matching shoes from River Island, a vintage turban-style hat and full-length gloves.
Speaking to the Irish Sun, the Ballinabranna woman said: “I’m in shock – I’m not used to standing up and lots of people taking my photograph. It’s lovely.
“For this outfit it was a long term project. I would just hang pieces in my wardrobe and stare. It eventually evolves between running off with two children."
