Two cycles in Carlow incentivising people to take part by offering cake

County Carlow Local Sports Partnership is holding two recreational cycles at a cost of just €5 each and promise a cup of tea/coffee and a "delicious cake or scone" at the destination. 

The "Cake Escape Cycles" will see their first route go from Tullow to Altamount Gardens (19.6km) and it takes place on Saturday, August 18 at 10am with a starting point at the church car park in Tullow. 

The second cycle will go from Carlow to Duckett's Grove (23km) on Wednesday, August 22 at 5.30pm with a starting point at Carlow Town Hall car park. 

Both cycles are for 12+ an anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The cycles will have qualified instructors and "once cyclists reach their destination they will be treated to a cup of tea/coffee and a delicious cake or scone before returning to the starting point".
