Great turn out for Myles Kavanagh's talk on the history of the Royal Oak

There was a great turn out for Myles Kavanagh and his Heritage Week 2018 talk on the history of the Royal Oak in Muinebheag Library on Tuesday night. 

There are a wide range of events and activities on for Heritage Week in Carlow. 

An Old Photos of Council staff exhibition is on in the Carlow Library on August 23 while a sugar factor exhibition runs across seven days, also in Carlow Library. 

5th Class from Carlow Educate Together NS did a project on Carlow Sugar Factory through art and stories with the help of artist, Lorraine Fenlon.
