Shauna at the Rose of Tralee on Monday night
A homecoming will be held for Carlow Rose Shauna Ray Lacey on Thursday, August 23.
Shauna missed out on being crowned the 2018 Rose of Tralee but made history in the process.
In the 59 years of the festival, the "Mother Rose" broke the mould for future Roses.
The 24-year-old is mother to her three-year-old daughter, Emmy, who was at the festival in Tralee over the last few days along with Emmy's father and Shauna's partner, John Nolan.
Unmarried mothers were barred from entry until 2008 so Shauna has been making history on her way to the televised finals as she was confirmed as the first ever "Mother Rose" to make it that far.
Shauna - who stole the hearts of the nation with her open and frank interview around her parents' drug addiction and how her mother overcame it to be in Emmy's life - will appear on Upper Tullow Street just outside Salt Bar at 7.30pm.
Shauna is the daughter of Angela Ray and the late Francis Lacey who passed away five years ago.
There will be live entertainment by Dave O'Neill, Brendan Jameson and of course, by Shauna herself.
Brendan Hennessey will be MC for the night.
