Construction company - Nesselside Builders Ltd - is seeking to amend planning permission for a residential development at a site of over three hectares at Chapelstown on the Tullow Road, Carlow.
The initial planning application was granted on August 13 of 2015.
The amendment - if permitted by Carlow County Council - will result in an increase from 85 two-storey houses making up 54 three bed semi-detached units and 31 four bed semi-detached/detached units.
The new planning permission would see the construction of 93 two storey houses making up 16 two bed terraced/semi-detached units, 73 three bed semi-detached/terraced units and four more four bedroom units - an increase of 8 units.
The amended development will be served by internal road layout and site access from Tullow Road, as granted under the previous permission.
The proposed development comprises associated landscaping (public and private open space areas) and boundary treatment works, associated amendments to internal footpaths, permitted site services (foul, surface water drainage and water supply) and all other site development works, site excavation and infrastructural works above and below ground.
A decision on the amendment is due by the Council on October 15.
