Carlow County Council will implement a one-way system to facilitate 'A Day with the Ducketts' from 11am to 6.30pm on Saturday, September 8 and Sunday, September 9.
The event will see two days of nostalgia bringing visitors back a century at the magical location of Duckett’s Grove in Carlow.
The local road (L6112) between Russellstown Cross and the R418 Castledermot - Tullow Road will be one way from Russellstown Cross to the Castledermot - Tullow Road.
This involves the re-routing of traffic as follows:
Traffic from the Castledermot direction will travel on to Killerig Cross taking a right turn along the Carlow road (R726), then take a right turn along the Carlow road (R726), then take a right turn at Friarstown Cross onto the L6113 as fas as the Towers where traffic will take a right turn to Duckett's Grove.
Traffic from the Tullow direction will be directed left at Killerig Cross onto the Carow road (R726), then take a right turn at Friarstown Cross onto the L6113 as far as the Towers where traffic will take a right turn to Duckett's Grove.
All diversions will be signposted.
