Man arrested and charged over a Carlow car break-in

The alleged culprit was found in a nearby garden

A man has been arrested and charged over a Carlow car break-in at the Staplestown Road on Friday, August 24.

Gardaí responded to a call at 7.25am on the date in question after a resident looked out the window of their home and saw someone going through their car. 

The alleged culprit left and went into a neighbour's garden where he was apprehended by Gardaí. 

The 18-year-old was charged and appeared in court recently where he was remanded on bail to appear before a further sitting of Carlow District Court in the coming weeks.
