BREAKING: Water supply in parts of Carlow Town to be shutdown due to 'conservation works'

Water conservation works will cause supply disruptions

Carlow County Council wish to advise consumers that due to essential water conservation works the water supply will be shut down between the hours of 11pm on Wednesday, September 5 until 6am on Thursday, September 6. 

The following areas will be affected by the shutdown: Burrin Street, Kilkenny Road, Granby Row, Hanover Road, Green Road, Blackbog Road, Monnacurragh, Mortarstown and adjoining areas.

The hosepipe ban was extended in Carlow until the end of September.

The Water Conservation Order will remain in place for Carlow and Kilkenny until Sunday, September 30 of this year. 

The Council apologise for any inconvenience caused.
