Carlow Gardaí caught two vehicles within 24 hours for 'turning back from a checkpoint'

No insurance, no NCT and no tax

Carlow Gardaí have caught two vehicles within 24 hours for 'turning back from a checkpoint'. 

The Roads Policing Unit in Carlow was performing a checkpoint on Thursday on the Wexford Road in Carlow.

Another car turned back but was subsequently seized for no insurance, no NCT and no tax.

Carlow District Court appearance to follow for driver.

It comes after the Carlow Roads Policing Unit performed a Mandatory Intoxicant checkpoint in Bagenalstown on Wednesday night. 

A vehicle also turned away from the checkpoint and the car was seized for no insurance, tax or NCT.
