Gardaí investigating 'unprovoked attack' on two males in Carlow appeal for information

Carlow Gardaí are investigating the incident and are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident to contact them

Gardaí investigating an "unprovoked attack" on two males in Carlow Town are appealing for information.

The incident occurred on Wednesday night into Thursday morning at approximately 12.30am on Kennedy Avenue.

Two males were set upon by two other men. 

The injured parties received minor injuries as a result of "blows and kicks".

Carlow Gardaí are investigating the incident and are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident to contact Carlow Gardaí on 059 913 6620 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
