A cheque for €7,500 was presented to Holy Angels Day Care Centre this week from the proceeds of the recent Jack Nolan Memorial Run.

Senator Jennifer Murnane O'Connor said: "A massive well done to Jack's family and friends who miss him dearly but ensure that his legacy is as generous as he was.

"It's lovely to see such community spirit and to see a great cause get a much needed cash injection.

"These pictures were taken in the fabulous hydrotherapy facility which is currently in need of an upgrade which I hope we can all support. Well done everyone and thanks for sharing the poolside with me!"
