Culture Night in Carlow pulled in over 1,200 people to the events across six hours on September 21, an analysis of the audience  figures has revealed. 

There were 30 creative events in all taking place 1,225 audience members from around the county. 

Chief Executive of Carlow County Council, Kathleen Holohan, said: "Culture Night Carlow created a real sense of belonging through a rich display of arts, heritage, entertainment and activities for all the family."

The most popular events were: Artist talk, ASPIRO, Ukulele (466 people) and Reelig and Mouthbox (150).
