Borris Gardaí are investigating
Gardaí are investigating a burglary in Borris where two firearms and ammunition were stolen.
The incident happened between Friday and Sunday of last weekend.
The occupiers came home to find their house had been entered through the rear-window.
Two firearms were stolen and a quantity of ammunition.
Gardaí are concerned that the firearms will be used for criminal activity and have issued an appeal for information.
Anybody with any information in relation to the burglary is being asked to contact Borris Garda Station on 059 977 3102.
