Homeless figures on the rise in Carlow in the lead up to Christmas

Carlow homeless figures on the increase

As we get closer to Christmas the number of people homeless in Carlow is on the rise, according to the latest figures published by the Department of Housing.


The figures for October show there were 19 people without a home at the end of the month in Carlow.

This is an increase from 13 homeless people across Carlow in August and 17 in September.

Nationally, there were more than 9,700 people officially homeless in October, according to the latest figures.
