Council give notice for extinguishment of public right of way at a 'back lane' in Carlow

Carlow County Council have given notice for the extinguishment of a public right of way at a "back lane" in Carlow.

The local authority look to make an order that over 27m of back lane in Willow Park, Carlow be closed off. 

Maps indicating the public right of way to be extinguished may be inspected at Carlow County Council Offices, Athy Road, Carlow during normal office hours Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays until January 2, 2019.

Any objections or representations regarding the proposal(s) may be made in writing, addressed to the Senior Engineer, Infrastructure, Carlow County Council, County Buildings, Athy Road, Carlow, to be received not later than 5pm on Wednesday, January 16 of 2019.

It should be noted that any person making such representation or objection may make a request in writing to state their case at an oral hearing conducted by a person appointed by the Local Authority for that purpose.
