Carlow Gardaí are investigating

Carlow Gardaí are investigating a burglary where a patio door was smashed and a quantity of cash was stolen.

The incident occurred at Crosby Place on Little Barrack Street between 2pm and 5pm on January 9. 

The homeowner returned home and found their rear patio door smashed, the house was ransacked and a quantity of cash was stolen. 

Gardaí are appealing for information in relation to another incident on the Old Burrin housing estate on the Burrin Road again on January 9 between 4.30pm and 7.30pm. 

The homeowner returned home and found there had been an attempt to force the rear window open and the window was also smashed at the back on the patio door but no entry was gained. 

Anyone with information in relation to both incidents is asked to contact Carlow Gardaí on 059 913 1505.
