Gardaí seize €2,500 worth of heroin in Graiguecullen after raid with dogs unit

Gardaí seized €2,500 worth of heroin in Graiguecullen last Friday after a raid with the dogs unit, members of the Carlow Detective Unit and the Divisional Drugs Unit.  

The search took place at Fruithill, Graiguecullen and uncovered a quantity of heroin with a street value of €2,500.

A male in his late 30s was arrested and taken to Carlow Garda Station and was released pending an analysis of the drugs. 

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
