Planning permission extended to December 31, 2021

An application has been granted to extend the duration of planning permission for 198 houses in Carlow.

Milltown New Homes Limited sought an "extension of duration" from Carlow County Council to further extend the duration of planning permission for a housing development comprising of 198 dwelling units on the Tullow Road. 

It would consist of 178 three-bed semi detached two storey houses, 18 two storey three-bed terraced town houses, a two storey building comprising of a crèche on the ground floor with 2 two-bed apartments over, site entrance, foul water pumping station and all associated site works and services.

A decision was made by the local authority to grant the application on January 15 with three conditions attached. 

One of the conditions was that the extension would be until December 31, 2021.
