Beloved son of John and the late Elizabeth and much loved brother of Kathleen, Margaret, Willie, Philip, Lizzy, Joan, Jackie, David and the late Mary. Deeply regretted by his loving family, nieces, nephews, grandnieces , grandnephews, relatives and friends.

Peacefully, in St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved partner of Marian, and loving father of Ian, Samantha, Sabrina, Larry and Andy, daughters-in-law Odilla, Sarah and Kelly, deeply regretted by his sister Frances, brother Myan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandkids Vanessa, Keisha, Jake, James, Evelyn, Roslyn and Nova, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his residence on Thursday afternoon from 2.oc, and on Friday afternoon from 2.oc, with rosary that evening at 8.oc. Removal on Saturday morning, arriving at St Andrew's Church, Bagenalstown, for Funeral Mass at 11.oc. Burial afterwards in the Cemetery of the Assumption, Bagenalstown. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny.

The death has occurred of Jean Bennett, formerly of Strawhall and Kilkenny Road, Carlow Town, Carlow / Dun Laoghaire, Dublin. Jean Bennett, died 30th January 2019, aged 90years. Formerly of Strawhall and Kilkenny Road, Carlow. Loving wife of the late Jack, and adored and much loved mother of Lynne (Hughes) and Ian. In the tender care of the wonderful staff of Altadore Nursing Home Glenageary. Sadly missed by her son-in-law Frank and daughter-in-law Jane. Most wonderful Granny to Jessica (and husband Andrew), Christopher (and wife Lucianne), Jennifer (and husband Jeremy), Claire and Joanna, and doting Great-granny to Robyn, Mylo and Daisy. Jean will be fondly remembered by her relatives and wide circle of friends who cherish her thoughtfulness and warmth.
Service of Thanksgiving at 6 pm, Friday (1st February) in Dun Laoghaire Methodist Church. Funeral Service at 12 noon, Saturday (2nd February), in Carlow Methodist Church, Athy Road, (Eircode R93 RW31) followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dublin Road, Carlow.
