Councillor slams needless vandalism in Carlow overnight

A Carlow councillor has expressed disappointment at overnight vandalism in Carlow town.

Cllr Jim Deane said he was dismayed to discover damage to planter boxes on Tullow Street in the town on Thursday morning, January 30. 

A number of trees and smaller plants were torn from the decorative boxes and thrown onto the street. 

Residents have also expressed their disappointment and called for anyone with information to report it to local Gardaí.
