An historic draw for Carlow

Carlow's first season in Division 1B of the National Hurling League has seen them go toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the country and secure a valuable draw.

After a spirited display against Dublin in Parnell Park last weekend, Carlow scored late to secure a draw against Galway in Round 2 of the league on Sunday afternoon in a scoreline of 0-20 to 0-20.

The stalemate at Netwatch Cullen Park saw Carlow hold last year's Leinster Champions and All Ireland hurling finalists to an historic draw.
