Carlow people asked to 'register their interest' in providing rooms for visitors to Ploughing
Things are starting to move along
Carlow Tourism have issed an appeal for Carlow people to "register their interest" in providing accommodation to visitors of the Ploughing Championships later this year.
In September, around 290,000 people will visit Ballintrane, Fenagh, for the National Ploughing Championships.
Carlow Tourism said: "While local hotels, self-catering premises and B&Bs will cater for many visitors, there is a definite requirement for additional accommodation in the Carlow area and surroundings.
"If you have a house or room available to rent at reasonable rates and would like to support the National Ploughing Championships, please register your interest on: carlowtourism.com/submityourproperty
"Alternatively contact Carlow Tourism on 059-9130411 or [email protected] for further details."
The Ploughing will take place at Ballintrane from September 17-19 of this year.
