Take A Part Carlow have issued an appeal for help on a Ring Fort Project that's being organised beside the Tullow Road.

Did you know that there is an Ancient Ring Fort just off the Tullow Road? Would you like to learn more about it and help the local community clean it up and maintain this incredible piece of local history?

If so, pencil these dates down and come along and help them with their project.

Dates for your diary:

Sat February 9 – 10am to 3pm – The Fairy Fort, The Laurels Estate
The Big Clean Up: Gathering of Individuals, Families, Community Groups and County Council Staff. Teas/Coffees Provided.

Wed February 13 - 7.30pm to 8.30pm Éire Óg GAA Club.
Family Friendly "Fairy Door" Workshop. Materials Provided. FREE.

Sat February 16 – 11am to 1pm – The Fairy Fort, The Laurels Estate, Tullow Road
The Final touches and hanging of Fairy Doors. Family friendly and all welcome. Teas/Coffees Provided.
