Who is in the semi final of Carlow's All Time Greats? Read on...

As we head into the closing stages of the competition - the voting is starting to heat up with thousands casting their ballots on who should get the title of Carlow's All Time Great.

After tense quarter-final match-ups we now know the four people who have made it to the semi-finals in the search for Carlow's All Time Greats. 

Results of the quarter finals:

In Poll #1 it was a battle of the sports superstars in Carlow with Turlough O'Brien leaping over Sam Watson into the semi-finals with a 78% share of the vote compared to Sam's 22%. 

Turlough will take on the winner of Poll #2 in the semi-finals where local men Kevin Brady and Brendan Hennessy battled it out but it was Visit Carlow's Kevin who came out on top with 78% of the vote compared to KCLR commentator Brendan who raked in 22%. 

Meanwhille, in Poll #3 it was Molly Scott who sprinted her way into the semi-finals with a resounding victory over actor Patrick Bergin. Molly got 83% of the vote while Patrick managed 17%. 

It was neck and neck in Poll #4 where Kevin Barry just pipped Eugene Walsh at the post for a semi-final spot against Molly Scott. Kevin secured 57% of the vote to Eugene's 43%.

Semi-Final #2: Molly Scott v Kevin Barry
