Manor House being taken over by housing co-operative delayed over 'technical issue'

Manor House in Bagenalstown is to be taken over by Co-Operative Housing Ireland "as soon as possible" as the deal is finalised, Carlow County Council have confirmed. 

Cllr Denis Foley asked if Manor House had a new owner now and if the sale was "gone through" as there were problems with sewage that have not been rectified. 

"It's not nice and with people going into a takeaway too," he added. 

In response, Director of Services at Carlow County Council, Michael Brennan, said Co-Operative Housing Ireland was working through a "technical issue" on the deal and he hoped it would be finalised "as soon as possible".
