"Valentine’s Day is looking hot, well ok...mild" says Carlow forecaster Alan O'Reilly of www.carlowweather.com
The forecast for the week will see calmer weather and temperatures getting up to 10C on Monday with a mix of cloud and bright spells.
The rest of the week then looks mild and mainly settled as high pressure builds over Europe and brings southerly winds that will feed up milder air.
Up to 12C or even 13C from Tuesday but it will see a lot of cloud too with just some bright spells in strong Southerly breeze.
Mainly dry until a risk of some rain Friday, according to www.carlowweather.com.
