There has been a huge reaction to the fascinating stories behind Carlow's historic houses, including Huntington Castle, Altamont House, Duckett’s Grove and Borris House, which were brought to life on RTÉ's Nationwide on Monday night.
People took to social media to praise the programme which has been described as a "truly excellent episode highlighting some of the wonderful historic houses you can visit in County Carlow".
Fáilte Ireland’s Jenny De Saulles, who heads up the Ireland’s Ancient East team, featured in the programme and discussed the important role Carlow’s great houses play in attracting overseas visitors to the region.
