Well done, Rathvilly Tidy Towns

Advertising posters on poles in Rathvilly village have now been taken down by the owners, Rathvilly Tidy Towns have confirmed.

In a statement on Facebook, the group said: "Tidy Towns have made the move to ask advertisers to remove signs placed on the poles so that we can join the growing number of villages in the country that are now poster free.

"If you see any posters on poles within the village boundries, please let us know on this page and action will be taken to remove them."
