Weather charts for next weekend are showing temperatures of 16C could be possible, says Carlow forecaster, Alan O'Reilly.
According to www.carlowweather.com, Tuesday will be a windy day with a mix of sunny spells and scattered heavy showers, mainly affecting western areas, up to 10C or 11C.
Alan added: "Tuesday night will be a cold one with a risk of light frost as it drops to near 1C, wrap-up if you are heading out for Rag Week in Carlow.
"Tuesday will start off dry but rain will move in from the West and turn persistent in the afternoon and evening, breezy again and up to 11C.
"Turning even milder overnight Tuesday night into Wednesday then and the rest of the week looks a mix of bright spells and showers with a strong breeze. Up to 13C Wednesday and maybe 14C Thursday and Friday.
"It may turn even milder for next weekend with some charts showing over 16C possible!"
