'It's always been a goal of mine,' Molly Scott tweets picture from her early sprinting days

"It's always been a goal of mine," says Molly Scott has she tweeted a picture from her early sprinting days after she won a 60m National title at the Irish Life Health National Indoor Athletics Championships in Abbotstown on Sunday.

Molly, part of the silver medal winning relay team at the World Under-20 Championships last year, has been rewarded for her excellent form by being picked as part of the Irish team going to the European Indoor Championships.

The St Laurence O'Toole athlete -  selected for the women’s 60m race - is among 16 athletes going to the Championships from Ireland, which will take place in the Emirates Arena in Glasgow on March 1 to 3.
