One of the culprits from the Tullow Men's Shed vandalism incident has come forward and apologised.

Tullow Men's Shed posted CCTV footage online of an incident on Saturday night where daffodils were pulled out of a flower bed outside the old health centre in Pairc Mhuire.

A picture of the damage done is highlighted below:

In a post on Facebook, they said: "I know to some people it's not a lot to be giving out about.

"A couple of years ago we took over a run down eyesore of a building and turned it back into something that we feel very proud of."

However, the group said on Saturday night at 8.55pm two males walking their dog on a lead decided to pull their flowers out "for no reason whatsoever".

UPDATE:

In a post on Monday evening, Tullow Men's Shed said one of the individuals - who is 15 years of age - has come to the Men's Shed to apologise and they have accepted his apology and he plans to donate some of his time to help the Men's Shed.

They also have the name of the other individual.
