A councillor has called for a "white line system" to be installed on Kilcarrig Bridge for pedestrians to stand inside on the "very dangerous" piece of infrastructure.

Cllr Arthur McDonald made the comments at this month's meeting of Bagenalstown Municipal District and he asked area engineer, Jerry Crowley, to install the white lines from the school all the way up to the bridge.

Mr Crowley said he would look to get the white line in to see if it "improved it some bit".
