Disgraceful speed
Carlow Roads Policing Unit conducted a speed check on the M9 this week and "detected one motorist in a particular hurry driving at a speed of 212km/hr".
Gardaí said: "Unfortunately for him, his journey was delayed and took a detour to the Garda Station where he was charged with dangerous driving.
"No excuse for this speed and placing other road users at risk."
