Tea Rooms opening for May Bank Holiday decided by environmental health impact report

Members were given an update at this month's Carlow Municipal District meeting
The Tea Rooms at Duckett's Grove opening for the May Bank Holiday is to be decided by an environmental health impact report which is due to be carried out next week.
There is some remedial work needing attention by the owner of the building, Carlow County Council, following a leak in the roof before Christmas.
Members were given an update at this month's Carlow Municipal District meeting when Director of Services, Michael Brennan, said they are currently in the process of carrying out an environmental health impact report.
Cllr John Cassin asked if the Tea Rooms would be open by the May Bank Holiday weekend and Mr Brennan said that would be dependant on the environmental health impact report.
Mr Brennan added that the local authority would endeavour to have the Tea Rooms back open by the June Bank Holiday weekend.
