'Not enough play equipment for children,' calls for more investment in Fairgreen

"There's not enough play equipment for children," calls have been made for more investment at the Fairgreen town park in Bagenalstown.

Cllr Denis Foley brought the issue up at this month's meeting of Bagenalstown Municipal District. 

Director of Services at Carlow County Council, Michael Brennan, told Cllr Foley that the local authority had applied for funding for Bagenalstown playground and they are awaiting the outcome of the application.
