A public notice has been issued of a temporary closing of roads in Carlow.
The first of the roads to be closed is Thomas Traynor Street (R725) between the N81 (Abbey Street) and Hawkins Lane in Tullow on dates between May 20 and June 14.
The second part of the road to be closed is the N81 (Abbey Street) between Hawkins Lane and Thomas Traynor Street (R725) in Tullow between the same dates.
The hours of closure will be between 8pm and 6am.
However, residents and motorists are advised that at no point during these works will both roads be closed simultaneously.
The purpose of the road closures is to facilitate footbridge construction and other associated site works.
Diversions will be in place.
