Gardaí are investigating an assault in Carlow Town which left a man with facial injuries.
The incident took place on Burrin Street at 12.15am on Monday night.
One male was assaulted and received facial injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is being asked to contact Carlow Garda Station on 059-9136620, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
