Road safety for children a 'big issue' at junction near Meaney's Pub and Cullen's butchers

Possibility of a road crossing to help the children coming from and going to the play school

Road safety for children is a "big issue" on the road between Meaney's Pub and Cullen's butcher shop in Leighlinbridge. 

Cllr Arthur McDonald said: "Child safety a big issue between Meaney's pub and Cullen's butchers shop where the children cross the road.

"I spoke to area engineer about road safety measures and the possibility of a road crossing to help the children coming from and going to the play school."
