Driver tests positive for cocaine as Carlow Gardaí carry out multi-agency checkpoint

Carlow Roads Policing Unit carried out a multi-agency checkpoint with the Road Safety Authority Ireland in Carlow on Friday.

One driver tested positive for cocaine and was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

A sample will now be analysed by the Medical Bureau of Road Safety.
