Two people sustained serious injuries after a single vehicle crash outside Tullow in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The Rathoe Road was closed for a period of time but has since re-opened at the Castlemore Road junction following the collision involving the grey Citroen vehicle which occurred at 1.50am.
The car left the road and collided with the corner of a house.
Three occupants - all aged in their 20s - who were in the car suffered injuries in the collision.
One female is in a critical condition and one male also sustained serious injuries while another man received non-life threatening injuries.
Emergency services attended the scene and the three occupants were taken to St Luke's Hospital.
A Forensic Collision investigation has been carried out at the scene.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the area between 1.30am and 2.15am in the early hours of Wednesday morning who witnessed the collision, particularly any road users who may have dash cam footage or who can assist Gardaí to contact Tullow Garda Station on 059 - 9161122, The Garda Confidential Line or any Garda Station.
