Fog patches will linger this morning (November 22) with a good deal of dry weather and sunny spells.
It will be mostly cloudy for much of the midlands and east with some rather persistent patches of rain, especially in parts of Munster.
Very blustery for a time along the south coast with temperatures between 6 to 10 degrees.
Later this evening, wet and breezy weather will develop in the southwest.
Tonight, wet and breezy weather will track up over the country with some heavy downpours.
Lowest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees, coldest early in the night.
Fresh and blustery southerly winds with strong gusts at times. Winds will ease and veer southwest as the rain clears.
